New Years Day | Winter Classic at the Cotton Bowl

We went to the friggin’ WINTER CLASSIC on New Years Day! An outdoor professional hockey game in TEXAS!!! It was very cold, it was insanely crowded, and it was SO MUCH FUN. The Dallas Stars won and I’m honestly just posting this blog because I want to share my photos!

My husband and I love hockey and we bought a mini season ticket package at the start of this season! It has been awesome going to a bunch of games, but THIS game was the absolute best. There is something special about the Dallas Stars fandom and it was incredible being surrounded by 85,000-ish other hockey fans! I am beyond happy that we had the opportunity to experience this.

Not only was the game incredibly exciting, but the experience as a whole was incredible. We took the DART to the game and got to chat with a bunch of other fans who came in from all over just for the game. Normally people are jerks when in crowded and slow situations, but there wasn’t an unhappy or inpatient person in sight!
