We Rescued a Puppy!
My heart is going to explode from happiness. Complete, overwhelming, heart exploding happiness! We rescued a puppy and he is the cutest thing in the entire world! If you read my “We Bought a House” blog a couple weeks ago, then you know that Mr. San Diego and I have wanted a dog for a long time and started looking at houses in January because we really, really wanted a dog and therefore needed a yard.
I started following a bunch of different local rescues in DFW to find our perfect little pup and when I saw Cody’s Friends Rescue post a photo of this little cutie, I immediately knew he was the one for me. We submitted the application within minutes of seeing his picture, and after doing our virtual home inspection and interview, and we got to meet him and bring him home today!
Everyone - let me introduce you to Kenobi! You can follow him on Instagram because I’m that-girl: @kenobi_discovers. He is a Retriever mix but we don’t know what his dad is, so we’re unsure as to what exactly he is mixed with. He’s about ten weeks old and is the sweetest, snuggliest, most shockingly chill pup in the world. Honestly, I was really emotional before meeting him because I knew he was my new soulmate and after meeting him, my heart feels SO FULL. He’s such a good boy.
