Maui | My Three Favorite Lahaina Restaurants

Let me start off by acknowledging the TERRIBLE JOB I did of taking blog-worthy photos at the restaurants we ate at in Maui. With our vacation group being as large as it was, I was either distracted or exhausted. Don’t let that deter you from the fact that these three restaurants were AMAZING and my absolute favorite of all the places we ate.

All three are in Lahaina and are 100% worth eating at.

Breakfast at The Plantation House

Lunch at Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop

Dinner at Fleetwood’s on Front St.

The Plantation House

Amazing Everything

I wish I took a photo of the inside and outside of the restaurant, as the location itself was beautiful.

The Plantation House is inside Kapalua Resort, and the building itself is the clubhouse for the golf course that overlooks a part of the course and the ocean.

Check out Yelp to see better photos of what the restaurant looks like: yelp.com/biz/the-plantation-house.

It’s a great place to have a fancy-ish meal without the strict dress code.

Incredible Breakfast and view

Everything we ordered was soooooooo good, and we had an awesome table with an incredible view. The photo below is of the Blackstone Benedict and I loved it!

Pro Tip: Make reservations and go early. We made reservations for 8:00 a.m. (when they opened), and that is a big reason why we got one of the best tables in the restaurant.

Leoda's Kitchen & Pie Shop

open for take-out only

As of right now (Feb 2022), Leoda’s is only open for take-out, but don’t let that deter you - it’s worth the visit!

Their sandwiches are fantastic and their pies are SOO good. I forgot to take a picture of my roast beef sandwich, but the pie below is the Lilikoi (which is passionfruit) and it was fantastic.

Worth Waiting in Line

It’s a very popular spot on the island, so be prepared for queues out the door if you go at peak hours.

You can always order online for pickup if you’re worried about the wait times!

Fleetwood's on front st.

Not a Gimmick!

If I’m being honest, when we first passed Fleetwood’s on Front St., I thought the restaurant would be slightly gimmicky.

It was such a pleasant surprise to discover that the food here is really, really good! Their drinks are fantastic as well!

The inside of the restaurant, there is a very hip vibe to it. There is even rooftop seating, but it was too dark when we arrived for me to check it out.
